Persons with Disabilities Placards

To qualify for a parking privilege placard or license plate, a person with
disabilities and organizations who transport persons with disabilities must
meet the criteria outlined by the State of Washington on the "Persons With
Disabilities" application.

How often does the permanent parking privilege need to be renewed?
The permanent parking privilege must be renewed every 5 years.

You will receive a renewal notice, including instructions, prior to the
expiration of your privilege.

The temporary parking privilege expires between 1 and 6 months, as indicated
on the application, by your physician.

License plates for a person with disabilities must be renewed annually, as
with any other vehicle registration, in order to remain valid.

The application for license plates, and permanent and temporary parking
privilege placards are available at our office.
